On-time, on-budget delivery in the Middle East results in award of new contract

When BioSun Pharmed Co wanted to build a facility to make peptides, it turned to KeyPlants for the Conceptual & Basic Design. The reason? We had recently completed a successful modular project in the region on time and on budget.

That experience came in handy: “One of the challenges was the need to build in flexibility in fabrication design to allow for process equipment delays,” says Anders Sjödin, Senior Project Manager at KeyPlants.

The processes include API manufacturing, liquid filling, highly potent oral solid dose, as well as aseptic filling in vials, syringes, and ampoules. The processing area was originally 3,000 sqm and was later expanded to include lyophilisation and an ampoule washer.
