A Major Step Forward: KeyPlants Doubles Its Modular Prefabrication Capacity
KeyPlants continues to expand its industrial capabilities to meet the growing global demand for modular facilities in Life Sciences and Advanced Technologies.
Following the announcement in December, our new production site in Götene, Sweden, is now established and operational. Together with our long-standing facility in Emtunga, this expansion doubles KeyPlants’ production capacity across all stages of offside construction.
With the addition of Götene, we can now execute twice the production volume compared with when Emtunga was our only facility. This enables us either to deliver significantly larger projects or to run more projects in parallel, while maintaining the same proven production processes and delivery timelines.
The new site mirrors the capabilities of our Emtunga facility. Our teams can perform the same level of installation and integration work directly in the factory, including clean rooms, process equipment, clean piping, HVAC systems and other critical components. The facility also supports the same level of preparation and testing prior to delivery, ensuring that the production facility arrives on site ready for rapid installation.
Götene provides modern, clean and well-conditioned production spaces, designed to support the GMP standards required for Life Sciences manufacturing.
To support the increased capacity, KeyPlants has established around 80 new workplaces in Götene, bringing together specialists across all disciplines involved in project delivery.
