Lean Construction Institute (LCI) Engineering Design Award 2024 goes a project delivered by KeyPlants!

An off-site manufactured modular building for the Merck project in Montgomery County, PA, was designed and delivered by KeyPlants in just 13 months from the start of Detail Design, utilizing internal modules to support vaccine filling operation. This achievement highlights the power of off-site modular construction, collaboration and the strength of lean principles in driving successful projects.

The LCI Engineering Design Award celebrates project teams—architects, engineers, designers, clients, and constructors—who excel in improving the design and construction process while creating value in the built environment. Winners are chosen based on their implementation of lean principles (50%) and the generation of value/fit for use (50%).
