Senior Process Engineer via Hays
Hays Life Science is currently recruiting Senior Process Engineers for an exciting opportunity to join the KeyPlants team. Situated in Stockholm City, KeyPlants is a global leader in life science facilities. Established in 2010, the company has been at the forefront of introducing modular facility concepts to the pharmaceutical industry.
At KeyPlants, you'll collaborate with skilled engineers providing services to a global customer base, ranging from emerging biotech companies to prominent pharmaceutical corporations. Your role as a Senior Process Engineer will be based at our headquarters in Stockholm, where you will be working on extensive pharmaceutical projects across all phases. These will encompass front-end design, engineering design, and execution. Your responsibilities will span the entire project cycle, including design, installation, and commissioning at customer sites. The nature of your work will be within an international project framework. Your key tasks will involve:
- Process design (developing P&IDs, process simulation)
- Leading process equipment endeavours (URS, design, procurement support)
- Overseeing process equipment installation and commissioning
- Generating specifications and performance data sheets for intricate process equipment
- Spearheading the development of process flow diagrams and guiding P&ID advancement
- Establishing a robust process design foundation, formulating process options, and optimising selected designs
- Keeping abreast of the latest industry technologies and their approximate costs, pertinent to addressing client design challenges
- Maintaining open lines of communication with project team members, suppliers, and clients
- Mentoring and providing assistance to fellow process engineers
You will be someone who thrives on managing complex projects for large international clients, all within a more compact organisational framework. You should be fluent in both spoken and written English.
You will have:
- A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in chemical, mechanical, or bioengineering
- Strong communication skills, decision-making abilities, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach—crucial traits in this industry.
Additionally, you will bring:
- Over 10 years of experience in the process industry, preferably in designing complex manufacturing facilities and process equipment
- Knowledge of cGMPs
- Experience in biotech or pharmaceuticals
You may also have:
- Familiarity with Filling, Packaging, and Freeze Drying processes
- Proficiency in the Swedish language
